Secret High School is an experimental web journal that is all about opening up and realizing that we are never alone. I believe that one of the things that isolate us the most are the secrets we keep. We are certain that we are the only ones that have ever struggled with it. I had many secrets in high secrets in high school - the most difficult being that my father was using drugs. I had no one to turn to, no one to talk to. My hope is that Secret High School will be a place where you can anonymously share your secrets, but also encourage and support others. If we all pitch in, then we'll begin to bring light - and help everyone to see that they are never alone.
And everyone who writes me asks - what's next?! And believe me, I hear you! I have a complete new teen novel about a girl named Mallory that I hope I will eventually be able to share with you. Plus I have already started working on another one. I am in the midst of trying to find that perfect agent to help me share these new stories with you. I know it's hard to wait - trust me - but you can pray that God leads me to the right people so that I can finally share these stories with you.
